This is the Privacy Policy for Budgetr Limited. Our service is provided at https://www.spenditures.com and associated mobile applications. Our services allows you to see all your online banking accounts and transactions in one place and intelligently aggregates presents your transactions on a budget to help you plan to spend and save wisely (which we refer to in this policy as our service or services).

When we refer to our trading name Spenditures or we, us or our in this policy, we are referring to Budgetr Limited, registered company number 05494985. We are the data controller in relation to the personal data you provide to us, which means we determine the purposes and the way in which your personal data is, or will be, processed.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Registration

Upon registration for an account with Spenditures we require you to enter a valid email address, this will form part of your login details and be the means by which we can communicate with your about your account.

Bank Account and Transactions

Once authorised by you, we collect your bank account name, balance and name of the account owner or card holder. We also collect bank transactions.

We only ever have read-only access to your account and transactions, so we can never and will never transfer money or make payments on your behalf. The purpose of Spenditures is to help you gain an understanding of what your budget looks like in real-time so you can make educated decisions on how to spend and save your money. Therefore, we do not change anything on your bank accounts, we only we only read what is happening so that we can report it back to you in format that is easy to understand.

You may contact us through our contact form. The personal information your submit will be emailed to us and not stored in anyway on our website database in any way

Access to your information

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information which we hold on you (commonly known as a data subject access request’). This enables you to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it.

Correcting personal data

You have the right to request that we correct personal data that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate information we hold corrected, though we may need to verify the accuracy of the new data that you provide to us.

Deleting personal data

You may ask us to delete or remove personal data where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it. This is more commonly known as the right to be forgotten’. You also have the right to ask us to delete or remove your personal data where you have successfully exercised your right to object to processing (see below), where we may have processed your information unlawfully or where we are required to erase your personal data to comply with local law.

Objecting to processing

We will always inform you if we intend to use your personal data for such purposes, or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. You can usually exercise your right to prevent such marketing by checking certain boxes on the forms we use to collect your data. Withdrawing consent

Where we are relying on consent to process your personal data you can withdraw your consent at any time. Please note that this will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdraw your consent.

How long we keep your data

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

We will normally retain your information for a period of 30 days after your account is deactivated or 30 days after your information is no longer needed to provide you with our services. After this period, the data will be deleted from our systems and we will be unable to access it. Security

The security of your personal information is important to us. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Login cookies last for 2 days. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for 2 weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Third parties

GoCardless

In order to process authorisation to your bank account and pull transactions and bank account data in a AISP compliant manner, we utilise a third-party company, GoCardless.

GoCardless is a leading open banking platform that connections to more than 2,300 banks across the UK and Europe and is used by over 75,000 businesses around the world.

GoCardless are acting as a “data processor” on behalf of Spenditures.

Links to Other Websites

Our website may include links to third-party websites and applications. This includes Social Media Features, such as the Facebook Like button and Widgets, the Share this” buttons that run on our website. Clicking on those links or enabling those Features may allow third parties to collect or share data about you. For example, these Features may collect your IP address or which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the Feature to function properly. Social Media Features and Widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Site. We do not control these third-party websites or Features and are not responsible for their privacy statements. Your interactions with these Features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it. When you leave one of our websites, we encourage you to read the privacy notice of every website you visit.

Changes to your details

It is important that the personal data we hold about you is accurate and current. Please keep us informed if your personal data changes during your relationship with us. To access and change your personal information, you should log in to your online account on our website and make the necessary changes. The changes will be effective as soon as you save them to your Profile, and a confirmation message will be displayed.
